First Day of Leave!

Kyle called us this morning to let us know he had got on an earlier flight and would be in Fayetteville at 11 am! We hadn't been expecting him until almost 6 pm so we were really excited! When he got through security I was too happy to remember to take out my camera for the "reunion" type pictures so that will have to wait until August. Here are some pictures of leave so far!

Leave Starts Tomorrow!!

Kyle is supposed to be home for his 15 days of mid-tour leave starting tomorrow! It's been 7 months and we couldn't be more excited to get him home! Before he left Iraq he emailed a few pictures with the promise that he's bringing lots more home on his SD card! Get ready for a lot of new posts because I think I will be taking an obscene amount of pictures of Kinsey and Daddy!

Last Tuesday there were a lot of newcasters and journalists where Kyle was; his command showed FOX news around and the others were split between everyone else. Kyle said he took a newspaper journalist from Pennsylvania around and this is a picture from that day that was posted on the Squadron Facebook page.

I don't know who the IA guy is but the other guy in ACUs is Kyle's Captain

Not sure what is going on again but you can see Kyle, his Captain, and his Senior Scout (Chris Adolf) is in the top row...

Busy Busy Baby...

Here are some pictures from the last week...

Kyle called this past weekend and we got to talk to him for a long time. Kinsey took the phone from me after a few minutes and carried it all over the house listening to Daddy talk, babbling and telling her new words to Daddy.

Saturday we went over to Amy and Marissa's to play because it was 80 degrees and we wanted to take advantage of the yard. The girls played inside after a while outside got too warm...

My Big Helper

My friend Amber came from Missouri to stay with us this week and it was so great to have a friend from home out here! We spent a lot of time just relaxing and having a Glee marathon! Amber taught Kinsey to say "Glee" and put up her hands in the "L" that they do on the show's posters. We were making dinner one night and after I took everything out of the oven Kinsey decided she needed to help so she put on the oven mits and walked around picking things up too. We got a few pictures of her with the mits on...

She always seems to take one shoe off when I have the camera haha!

She likes to see the pictures on the screen and she kept trying to look mid taking the picture...

Sunny Days...

It was 73 degress out today so Kinsey and I took a nice long walk and she wanted to wear her shades. I thought it looked cute to I took some pictures. Later in the day Marissa and Amy were in Fayetteville so they came over for dinner. While we cooked and chatted the girls played, I got a few pictures of them on Kinsey's "scoochers" while they were riding around and then a picture of the "lovies" when they were leaving...

Happy Birthday Miss Amy!

Kinsey and Marissa finally got to play together again after our long trip back to Missouri! We celebrated Miss Amy's birthday tonight and the girls had lots of fun playing together again! Marissa is the smartest little girl I have ever seen! It was so fun to see them together and watch Kinsey soak up all the things Marissa is doing and saying. There are several pictures below but check out Amy's blog (the link "The Kinard Family" on the left) for more. The first picture is older because we thought it would be neat to see a picture of them on one of their play dates this summer and then the pictures of them now...
