Valentine's Day Fun!

Valentine's Day preparations were too much fun around here! Kinsey was going to have her first official Valentine's Day party and we picked out a decoration kit from the store then made a ton of treats for her friends!

 We made some fun and simple treats a few days before to take to school and for Daddy's lunch!

 Thank you Pinterest, they were yummy and she had a blast!

 Then the night before her party we made her Valentine's trail mix for her treat bags.

 She's a great helper but I think we "lost" a lot of the marshmallows in the process :)

Cohen is WALKING!

On January 18th Cohen finally started walking! We were wondering when he was going to start because he had been taking a step here or there for a while but wasn't willing to let go of the wall or something for a long period of time. We were just sitting around on a Saturday and Kyle turned on Rocky V, it was hilarious because as soon as the Rocky theme started Cohen let go of the couch and walked to Kyle! Here are a few little videos of him walking, I love in the second one how Kinsey is cheering for him! She was so proud of her Buddy!

Coolest Play Park Ever!

A little ways from our house is the Camelot playground, it is so neat!! It's a huge wooden play structure that looks like a castle when you enter and you enter on a "draw bridge" and then another section of the park looks like a pirate ship. Kinsey loves this park and Cohen thinks watching her play is so fun but it's a little too big for him.

New Years Eve in Missouri!

One of my good friends was getting married over New Years Eve in KC and we were excited to get to come back for a few days around the holidays! We spent a night with Cory and Stacey and the kiddos had a blast! Then it was on to KC where Mimi, Papa, & Uncle Jake met us and watch Kinsey and Cohen while Kyle and I had a night out! Then we went on to Jefferson City for one night and got to stop of to visit Amber, Scott, and sweet Beckett!! :)

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning around here was great! Kinsey woke up so excited! She checked to see if her Elf on the Shelf had gone back to the North Pole and then went to see if Santa had come. Poor Cohen got a fever out of nowhere Christmas Eve so he wasn't having as much fun.

 Love her face! She was so shocked that Santa new she wanted a little Merida princess like her others :)
