Haircuts: Cohen's First and Kinsey's "Rapunzel" Hair

It was time for Cohen's first hair cut and to tame Kinsey's mane :) Here are some of the pictures from the trip, Cohen did so much better than Kinsey did for her first hair cut!

Kinsey's Forever Friend Turns 5!

Marissa turned 5 and celebrated with a Fancy Dress Tea Party that was too much fun! The girls drank tea from real fancy tea cups, did crafts, and got a fancy tea party hat! Kinsey loved the party and is so lucky to have such a great "forever friend"!

Kinsey's Last Baseball Game

Last week was Kinsey's last game of the summer. She did great when she hit and made it home one of the times! After the game they had pizza and trophies for the team.

Summer Celebration Trip to the "Beach"

Since Kinsey's class would be splitting up and going to different Kindergartens, we (the Mommies) all decided they needed one last Hurrah as the "big 4s" class. One of the Moms reserved space the "Beach" club and we planned a fun day! Unfortunately we got rained out so many times that it ended up not being the whole class but several of the girls came and they had a GREAT time!

 Cohen was in a state that day! He loved the dry sand but the one time he sat in the wet sand he froze disgusted for about 3 minutes solid and refused to stand up! Eventually I gave and helped him up but it was so out of character for our fearless, messy little man! Too funny!

Pictures from Kinsey's class

Kinsey's preschool was great about posting pictures of what the kids did during the day and all of the fun activities they did. Here are some pictures of Kinsey from the last two months of school.

Kinsey's Preschool Graduation

Trip to the NC Zoo

We decided to go to the Zoo over Memorial Day weekend to do something fun and it was neat! Cohen had never been to the zoo before and with the exception of the awesome dinosaur exhibit, he was more interested in his cheerios than anything going on around him :)

 Here are a couple of the dinos from the huge exhibit! Each one moved and made noises!

 Kinsey had been looking for the triceratops the whole time and, of course, when we finally found the triceratops, it was the only one being eaten! It didn't move or talk and luckily they didn't put any "blood" on it so Kinsey bought that it was just sleeping :)

 At the end of the exhibit they had a fossil dig site so Kinsey got to dig for fossils

 And then they had a little table to brush the sand off of "bones"
