Kinsey's First Day of Pre-K!

Kinsey started Pre-K today and she loved it!! No tears, no fuss, just super excited to go to her school!!

Kinsey Bear Out and About - Gymnastics

Kinsey's friend Addie takes gymnastics in town and they are allowed to bring a friend to one class so Kinsey went with her yesterday. They broke the class up and Addie went to a different group but Kinsey still had a lot of fun!

 They carried around carpet squares and when it wasn't their turn or when they needed to listen to directions, that is where they sat. It really worked to keep the kids from running a muck!

She wanted to take ballet next month and now I think we'll have to do gymnastics too!

Cohen is 8 months old

Time is flying by! Cohen is eight months old and, not surprising, way more active than Kinsey was at his age! He refuses to sit and if you try to make him, he immediately crawls away. He is a pulling up machine but gets mad because he can't figure out how to get back down. We won't have a visit until next month but it's safe to say he's growing a lot! He eats like crazy, gets mad when he hears the spoon scraping the bottom of the container and he is in 9 month clothes now! We love our little man!

When I went in to get him after a nap, this is how I found my happy boy! We moved the mattress down but might have to put it on the bottom setting.

Kinsey Bear Out and About - Swim Lessons

Kinsey started swim lessons in July and we were excited to get her into a class of some kind before Pre-K. She was the most timid one in the class but she was also the only first time kiddo. She usually did really well listening to Miss Tiffany and doing what she said but she did not want to put her face in the water! Since the 2 week class ended we've been working with her at the neighborhood pool and she's not afraid to put her face in anymore!
