Christmas in Kansas City

Every year my Dad's family goes up to Kansas City around Christmas for sushi dinner and a play. The theater doesn't allow kids, which we discovered last year, so Kinsey and I went up for the sushi dinner and to see the fun things around Crown Center.

We brought Daddy along for sushi at Kabuki :)

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve night Kyle's grandparents always have a family dinner and it was great to see all the family! I was not very good about getting the camera out until Kinsey opened her present from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Robinson. This was the first present that she actually tore into herself and I was a little excited! :)

I didn't get any pictures of Christmas morning because Kyle was on Skype so he got to watch Kinsey open her presents and chat with everyone. There had been a blizzard in Maysville and the roads were bad, so a little later Christmas morning, Kyle's Dad and brother dug us out and we eventually made it to Columbia to see my Mom, Brad, Maddie and the family.

We celebrated Aunt Amy's birthday at lunch and had ice cream cake so Kinsey got to eat some ice cream bites and got pretty messy!

Kinsey and I got to my Dad and Andrea's house about 8 and she was still up so we decided to go ahead and open presents!

When we got to Maysville on Monday Aunt Savannah was ready to read Kinsey a book and Kinsey was ready! They looked really cute so I snapped a couple pictures...

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

We finally got some snow in Jeff City today that stuck so I took Kinsey out before we ran errands and let her walk around in it for a bit. Once again I forgot that I can't turn a video so you'll have to turn your head ;) It's a little hard to hear her over the engine but you can see that she's excited. There are some pictures too.

The dogs started barking so she was "woof"-ing too :o)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Yesterday was a fun filled day of Christmas activities! I took Kinsey to see Santa for the first time and like most babies she was not a fan at all! She had a death grip on my shirt when I got her close to him so no screaming baby with Santa pictures but I did get one of my Dad holding her close to Santa. Then we went to the Christmas tree lot to pick out a tree and brought it home to decorate. Kinsey has started a new excited pose where she scrunhces her face and her shoulders and squeals, I've been trying to catch a video of it but I got a few pictures this time.
